New Construction Plumbing
Zenco Plumbing · Northern Michigan
Building a new home is a significant undertaking, and getting the plumbing right from the start is essential. Plumbing that's roughed in correctly makes the finish work easier, reduces future service calls, and helps the project pass inspection without hassle. Zenco Plumbing has been working with homeowners and builders on new construction projects across Northern Michigan since 2011.
Rough-In Plumbing
Rough-in is the foundation of a home's plumbing system — all the supply lines, drain lines, and vent pipes that go in before the walls are closed up. Getting this stage right matters enormously. Supply lines need proper sizing and support. Drain lines need correct slope. Vent stacks need to be positioned for code compliance. We coordinate with framing crews to make sure everything lines up, and we don't leave until the rough-in is ready for inspection.
Fixture Trim-Out
Once the home is drywalled and finished surfaces are in place, we return for trim-out: setting toilets, installing sinks and faucets, connecting dishwashers and refrigerator ice makers, hanging shower valves, and connecting the water heater. Trim-out is detail work — done right, it's invisible. Done poorly, it creates years of small headaches.
Working with Builders in Northern Michigan
We understand that new construction runs on schedules, and plumbing delays can hold up every other trade on the job. We show up when we say we will, communicate clearly with general contractors and project managers, and work efficiently to keep the build moving. Builders who have worked with us know that we take those schedules seriously.
Northern Michigan's new construction market has been active in recent years — new homes and cabins going up across Antrim, Charlevoix, Otsego, and surrounding counties. Whether you're a homeowner building your primary residence or a builder managing multiple projects, we're available to bid on new construction plumbing.
